which exhaust system?
which exhaust system?
i own a 2001 civic ex and i want to put an exhaust system on it, but i don't know which exhuast gives the best sound and power without making my car sound like a rice rocket. Any suggestion to my problem?
Well first off this is the suspension forum...but anyway I'll be nice and answer your question. I would go for the Greddy Evo system. I think it has the nicest sound and the muffler doesnt look like a giant fart can. Tanabe is nice also, but a little loud at 6500 RPMS. All of the exhausts for our cars make the same power and very little of it also. Your only going to benefit from an exhaust if you get a Turbo...

there is a thread with sound clips and sosme video clips of most of the exhaust systems on the market for our cars, listen to those and see which you like best. I don't know what forum it is in but it is a sticky thread at the top of either the Other Products and Parts, Member Rides, or Tech Forums.

DC TCS. Nice sound and power. Greddy Evo does look like a fart can. You can see the tip and half the muffler when looking at the back bumper. The TCS sits nice. Not hard to install yourself either.
