The V2 is a cold air.
If you want the newer thing that is 10 times more expensive for an increase between 0-2 horsepower thats up to you. Don't even bother with a cold air. Just get a Short ram and never have to worry about hydrolocking. Either way your not going to be breaking the sound barrier. Filter on a stick, who cares

It's gay. For the 99-00 Si it comes with a ****ing new motor mount, and if you have to go that far just to install an intake you are very miseducated.
It is said to be louder but just because it's bigger doesn't mean ****. The same amount of air is still going in because the size of the throttle body takes in the same amount of air.
V2.
