There were some on this website for a while that were power with no led http://shop.store.yahoo.com/racinglab/index.html I guess I should have jumped on them but whoda thought I couldn't find them again
has anyone put the m3 mirrors on their car? im thinkin about doin it but it seems like the mirrors are really small, and you can barely see anything with them. so anyone with them, please let me know if they suck, or they're worth buying. thanks

they are not too small in my opinion.
the only complaint i would have about them would be that they vibrate, or jiggle while im driving - on the highway anyhow. its just the glass/mirror part that moves, it only sucks really if you are trying to see a person, or what kind of car it is or somthing....
i notice because i look for all sorts of cops - alot... ahem!

I like them better than my stock mirrors, cause they are blue tinted and they just look sportier.

I have them... White (they're not painted yet because I still have body work to be done and imma do it all at once). They're ok, but I havent hooked up the led part in them yet. The only gripe that i do have is that the mirror part jiggles alot as mentioned before. I mean i only have 2 10's in my trunk and the driver side mirror shakes near as much as my rearview.
I just bought them and I was wondering if anybody has some shortcuts as to how to wire the turn signals up. (I would prefer not to take a bunch of stuff apart if I don't have to). Thanks

Dr5D: I think he meant for the turn signals. Hooking up the power mirror part would be pretty easy...but running the wires through the door wiring harness might be a pain.
Is there an easy way to do this? I was thinking of buying a set of these myself...
I'm just a little bit iffy about it because I would lose the heated aspect of the mirrors. Living in canada kinda makes you NEED the heated mirrors.
One day I came outside in the morning (in jan), and there was an inch of ice all over my entire car. the mirrors were fine after two or three minutes, but it took me an hour to get the ice off the windows
so...heated mirrors rock
but, I don't think any aftermarket companies make them in the M3 style, with or w/o the led's?

but, I don't think any aftermarket companies make them in the M3 style, with or w/o the led's? I just installed them. Hooking the LED part of the mirror wasn't too bad. What I ended up doing was running the wires through the rubber grommet that the rest of the factory wires run through. Now that you are out of the door and into the main part of the car, I just ran wires through the factory grommet in the firewall. From there, I just ran the wires up to the turn signals/parking lights and tapped them in. They work great. I am about to put up a DIY for these mirrors so more detail will be provided there.
