Sedan rear end

I really think the rear end of the 2001 civic sedan looks terribe. I look at the rear end of my civic every day to think of ways to make it look sportier, but I can't. I've already changed the rear lights, put on a nice body kit and the car still looks like a wedge. On top of that it sways like a boat on the road. I know I should have bought a coupe. Any ideas?

Sorry man, unless if you want to custom mold a new rear end, your stuck with it. Maybe, look at a different car?

Sportier? Just put a spoiler on there, nothing higher than the OEM coupe's.

Yeh! I guess the biggest mistake of my life was buying my civic sedan.

After driving Mazda sport coupes all my life. I thought a Honda sedan would be a change being a family guy, I was wrong.

Oh! Already gota full body kit and spoiler.

I like mines too. I guess it all depends on your taste. Some people like boxy cars. *shrugs*

You sedan "sways like a boat on the road"? Is it lowered?

Nup! it's not lowered and all of the suspension is original although it's been replaced by Honda.

I like mine just fine. I dont see anything wrong with the rear end. If you wanted a sportier looking car you shouldnt have bought a Honda. Speaking of Mazdas, Im going to get one of the new RX-8's. I cant wait!!!!!

I love the look of my sedan from the front and especially the profile. I don't see all the negatives that the coupe guys spout off. You just have to remember that a good amt of the coupe drivers don't like the sedan because it is a sedan. Sedans aren't "cool" to the younger crowd and they simply can't appreciate the practicality of one.

Anyhow, I don't like the rear of mine a whole lot either. However, the oem spoiler changes the whole look imo. I bought mine w/o it and added it a few weeks later. A huge improvement.

Lower your car. Lowering the car is a Honda's best friend.

I dont like the coupe rear ends or the fabric of the interior. I think the sedans look SOOOO much better and its practical. Thats one of the reasons I like the new RX-8 so much. Its a sports car that seats four.

Round taillights on a boxy designed car?

I've seen taillight conversions but there are far and few that're worthy of honorable mention.
