no, i think it was that they sold their rights... to invida. Something like that. Someone explained it before. But that's beside the point. It's a great exhaust, looks completely stock and sounds stock until WOT.

These exhausts are not the same. I have seen some side by side for other civics. Some of the Invidia stuff I saw didnt fit so well. But the RSR stuff is really nice.

I heard that Invidia mislead alot of people to think that they are part of RSR. My Japanese buddies have told me that the new Invidia is not even JDM. Just look in any Japanese magazine or ask anyone from Japan, there is no such company out there.

I guess its a common misconception that has been going around.

Yeah, RSR has two different systems. one for street and one for race. The EXMAG street system is dope. I used to have it on my old civic. its got a black can with a polished tip so it looks stealthy. its really quiet too so no problems with cops. kinda like Mugen without the crazy price tag.

not so... if you look at rs*r's website they clearly state that they have nothing to do with invidia... the exhausts are also 2 completely different animals, with the rs*r being a straight race exhaust with no flanges (just sweet *** spring clips) and almost 0 restriction and the invidia looking like a cross between a fireball and a racing medallion

you should look into mbrp's exhaust.. modified mag dyno'd an 02 si with it and it came out to like 12hp and 10lb/ft gain
