Hi I have a 2007 Honda civic coupe ex and I'm about to install an atoto a6 pro unit in it, I have connected all the wires but have a leftover illumination ground wire (orange with black stripe) on the scosche ha10b wiring harness. While trying to find out what to do with it since the amp harness doesn't have a wire to match with it I seen alot of people saying that illumination/dimmer wires really mess up there car ,I do have the orange/white- illumination/dimmer wire on the scosche harness currently connected to the solid orange illumination/dimmer on the atoto harness,my question is
1.is it safe or will I mess up my car ?
2.do I need the ground wire and if so where do I wire it (p.s I thought of wiring it to a t-tap on the chassis ground but I already t-tapped my parking break to it?)
3.Follow up question:is it safe to ground both the parking brake and illumination/dimmer ground to the same chassis ground ?
