CD player trouble (BAD DISK)

CD player trouble (BAD DISK)
Hello all,
I have a 2009 Civic sedan. I've had the car since March and I love it.
Yesterday, I wanted to play a CD and pressed the eject button and no disk came out. So went to put a CD in the drive and the disk wouldn't go into the player. I'm pretty sure that I left a disk in there the night before. So, I started hitting the eject button on the CD player again and got the error: BAD DISK CHECK OWNERS MANUAL.
I checked my Civic's manual and could't find anything about the CD player in there. That's why I decided to ask you guys. I can't play CD's now and would like to get the CD out of there. It is a factory CD player and I've made no changes to it since I bought the car. Can you please help
