no TPMS sensors on new rims
no TPMS sensors on new rims
When we bought my sons 2012 Civic, it came with aftermarket rims that he preferred to the stock steel ones. After getting new Michelins on those rims and installing them onto the car, it was then that we noticed that the fancy rims didn't have the TPMS sensors. Now, his dashboard always reminds him at start up and the lights stay on all the time. I saw in the owners manual that there is a fuse that is labeled "TPMS". Can we just pull the fuse so the reminders and the lights go away?
Thanks

Re: no TPMS sensors on new rims
With an operating system and you pull the TPMS fuse, it'll illuminate the light. Only way to get rid of the light is to get the TPMS sensors installed onto the new rims
