replacing torque strut
replacing torque strut
Hey guys- first time poster here.. it appears I have a damaged torque strut mount (see pics), but notice how the joint on the right seems kinda bent? I was just wondering if that's something that will fix itself when I jack up the engine and attempt to move it back into place while I replace the torque strut mount. Or is a more major repair needed? Also, notice how the engine has come forward, it will be difficult to move it back into place to get the new mount in.. any tips? Thanks in advance.

Just push it wherever you need it to go so you can assemble the new torque strut.
Re: replacing torque strut
torque strut in autozone for $70 +/-,support chasis of car with jackstands and then use jack on engine or tranny (protect with wood piece) to install new torque strut. not too hard................Regards.....Manuel
