2008 Civic LX Engine Whine Sound, 102,000
Hello: Car been sounding weird lately, like a whining sound from the engine.
Also, seems sluggish (slower than normal to warm) in the cold Chicago winter weather.
Shifting seems normal, acceleration smooth but this sound is starting to drive me crazy. More noticeable at slower speeds. Guess is a belt of some kind, serpentine???
Any help would be appreciated!

I don't hear anything unusual over here in my recliner.
Can you let us hear whatever it is that you hear?
Checked fluids?
Stethoscope to your ear, probe around to pinpoint the source of the noise?
