I noticed that a rat has chewed a wire after noticing my car was accelerating odd. At higher speeds like getting on the freeway the engine seems to have a hard time accelerating. It will accelerate then stop accelerate then stop over and over. At lower speeds it seems to accelerate fine. The wiring is in the center of and there are 4 different sets of encased wiring that plugs into something each with a yellow and a blue wire. The yellow wire is the one that's chewed don't know if that makes a difference or not.

For someone with no knowledge of car repair what exactly do you mean by that?

If there is wire interruption reconnect it using soldering iron.

If wires are chewed, is the check engine light also on?
Got the fault code from it?

I didn't actually notice chewed wires in the pics.
