Rep Power: 0 2006 Civic Si Radiator Issue?
I drove my car home from work, maybe 10 miles last night, and parked it in the garage. Didn't notice the temp gauge, but an hour later, went to my garage and it was full of "smoke". It was coming from the front of my car, along the radiator. Thought I had a coolant leak, but this morning when I took it to Honda, they said they couldn't find a leak. No coolant in oil or vice versa. Thermostat seemed fine.
Why was is blowing so much "smoke" for over an hour after I parked my car?
They mentioned maybe the A/C compressor could be stuck open and blew out freon? Drove it to work this morning, no smoke or high temp. Didn't turn on the a/c. Anyone help?
P.S. My car was recently stolen, and now is having quite a few problems. Just replaced the master clutch cylinder, but still needs a new clutch, drive belt, shocks and front brakes.... thinking about selling it. Love this car, but would appreciate any opinions on whether putting a bunch of repair money into my car is smart since I have 160K miles.
Thanks!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

See if the AC still works, or not.
Did the "smoke" stink, like a barn or poop?
