Rep Power: 0 Can't find a downpipe for 2011 lx
I recently got a 2011 LX and when I put it on the lift to change the oil I noticed that my downpipe (stock) was rusty. I've been looking all over the internet for downpipes for a 2011 LX but all I keep finding is SI and EX. If anyone knows of an online shop that carries downpipes for a 2011 LX it would be greatly appreciated.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Can't find a downpipe for 2011 lx
You call it a downpipe, I'd call it the cat. Attached to the cylinder head.
(If our terminology is the same here.)
EDIT: On a USA car, the catalog indicates the catalytic converter is the same for all versions of the car with the 1.8L engine. (Not Si, 2.0 is very different).
What's rusty about it?
There IS steel used in it, it IS exhaust, it WILL show surface rust in places.
They ALL do.
I haven't seen a single one rust out yet.
(Actually, I haven't even seen any of the tin shields rust out on this gen Civics here, and I'm in the rust belt.)
Warranty 8 years/80,000 if the cat itself fails, since it is the catalytic converter.
Shields are only covered under the 3/36 warranty though.
I sure wouldn't replace something that works with something that only sounds appealing.
Our government and school systems already do plenty of that.

If you want aftermarket (though, I'd take the hp/tq gain claims with a grain of salt)

Also, 2006+ CDM/USDM lx/dx/ex all have the same engine (1.8L vtec R18A1)
