Unique vibrating experience!!

For the past couple of years have been noticing a vibration coming from the dashboard and glove box when the car was idling.

A few days back, I noticed that when I pull the seat belt buckle holder (while wearing the seat belt) away from me (towards the dash) the vibration stops completely.

Anyone else face this unique vibrating experience? :-)

Re: Unique vibrating experience!!

short circuit and consequent loss of current? that would cause increased load in alternator and thus engine, especially at idle

Re: Unique vibrating experience!!

Nope, but i've experienced some other unique vibrating experiences.

Haha, but in all seriousness, I think maybe you have something loose in your glove compartment?
Or a loose wire wiggling about?
Possibly a loose panel too

But that would not explain why the vibration goes away when I push the belt buckle towards the dash. Weird!

The above also would not explain why the vibration goes away when I push the belt buckle towards the dash. Weird!

Re: Unique vibrating experience!!

Could possibly be that the b pillar panel could be loose, or the seatbelt assembly might be loose

wasn't there some electrical components wired to the exploding tensioner?
