Wants to stall on takeoff
Greetings folks, I am my sons dad and trying to figure out his car problem.
1998 Civic, 210k
On startup, idle is approx 1800rpm.
Warms up will decrease to about 1500rpm.
Put in gear (automatic) and on aceleration the car wants to stall out, but if you give a little more accelerator, the car will just take off and drive just fine.
I have sprayed the throttle body, metered/checked the TPS, sprayed to find any vacumn leaks. Can't find anything...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
