Sorry - SO SORRY. I know, first post, a wiper question. I promise - I did search! I really did. I have a specific question, I couldn't find the answer, and I'm kinda hosed. If you can help, thanks.

I bought Trico Force replacements for my gf's 2006 2 door. The wipers come with a different adapter (the "B" adapter) for the Civic-style blade, and a shim (the "C" shim) for 22 mm width arms. You don't use the shim for 19 mm width arms.

I couldn't get the 22 mm shim to fit, but with just the "B" adapter they do fit. Kinda. But they are LOOSE, I mean you can hear them clunking and they are almost ready to fall out of the arm. I can't figure it out.

Any ideas? I already threw the "C" shim and boxes out ... not sure about returning them.
