Hello everyone!! I have a friend who has a 2012 Civic and says he needs to replace the coolant. I'm not sure what kind of coolant the new Civics take. Can anyone help me out and tell me what to put in there?! Thanks a lot!

Likely Type II (blue) (my 2010s is blue)

It is rated at like 5 years...why would he change it ?

To be honest I have no clue!! I thought I heard something about people's brand new Civic starting to over heat or something?! I have no clue!!! That's something I'd expect out of my 7th gen.
