Rep Power: 0 tire pressure light stays on
Hi.
I just got 2011 Honda civic LX last thursday.
its a brand new car and this morning, i just realized
tire pressure light came on.
I looked around the car and checked the tire pressure and
has no problem with the tires.
I didnt hit anything or didnt went over any rocks or anything.
I don't understand why it came on.
well.. last night was really cold. should that be the problem?
should i go check at the shop?
thx!

Re: tire pressure light stays on
Have a 2011 Civic and about a month ago, weather was cold - tire pressure light came on. It has not gone off even when the days got warmer. When will it go off? the Service Dept. told me to drive it would go off when the days got warmer and if it was driven for hours at a time. Anoying. Is this true?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Holy crap, people.
Go to Wallyworld, buy a tire gauge. Go to the gas station and air up the tires.
This is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

You have to put air in the tire when it comes on....colder weather means yes the pressure will go down...open your driverside door and look at what the cold pressure is supposed to be..ensure you fill it to that number...the light will not go off right away..it will take a few miles at 16 plus MPH...
RTFM.
