It will not fit without cutting the firewall, among a few other modifications to get the TB to fit properly. You will also have to modify the mounting bolts to fit it, and you will also need an aftermarket fuel management system, or K-Pro. If you're willing to spend the money on kpro, then for some reasonable gains, get a stock d16y8 manifold and bolt up your stock tb to it with an adapter, buy a kpro and a stage 1 NA cam, and you'll have a decent performance increase. Sorry to kinda hijack the thread, but I wouldn't recommend putting this on a d17 unless you've got lots of time and mony and fab skills.
