I ordered a brand new 230 amp alternator for my 05 Civic to power some amateur radio gear but have decided to put the gear in my Suburban instead.

This alternator was built by Nations Alternator and Starter. I paid $517 after shipping for it. I am willing to take $450 shipped for it to get it out the door so I can reinvest the money in to an alternator for the Suburban.

I am expecting the alternator to be here by the end of this week or some time next week.

The alternator also comes with a cable that goes between the socket on the alternator and the vehicles harness that tells the computer not to slow the charge rate of the alternator to save fuel so you get max output from alternator at all times.

First there are no returns on custom built alternators.

Second there are no off the shelf or prebuilt 230 amp alternators available for this car especially not for $259, I don't know where you are getting your information from. This alt was purchased to go on an '05 DX 1.7L.

Alternator came in today, will post up some pictures when I get back to the home 20.

Based on my math, the link above is 1.99 per amp, where you paid 2.25 per amp and STILL lost money selling it. Bummer.
