Tein Basics - 3 months Old - $650 shipped
Tein Basics - 3 months Old - $650 shipped
I finally got done installing these in late june. (Thread is on civicforums for all the troubles i had) I drive my ep3 daily and even though these make it handle like it is on rails, they are just too stiff. I bought a complete stock suspension with almost no miles on it and re-installed it. So these are going up for sale, i paid about $950 for them 3 months ago. They come with everything that is in the pictures and probably have less than 1200 miles on them.

Yes, they fit em2, although they are set up for an ep3 right now, the green rings you see on the lower left hand of the picture are the spring seats for the em2, so the gold set that is on them right now would need to be taken off. The instructions basically say they fit 01+ civics.

Uhhh ep3 and em2 have different tie rod end sizes. You can't have em2 suspension parts on an ep3 because the tie rods from the em2 won't fit into the ep3 stuff.

^ not true entirely. 03-05 can use the ep3 suspension. will bolt right up. tie rods are the same size and and everything. 01-02 use different size tie rods as well as the lower bolts.
where are u located btw? are these still for sale?

I'm pretty sure the 03-05 em2 don't have the same tie rod ends as the ep3. I have ep3 tie rods on my em2 designed coilovers, they don't fit right. They work, but they don't fit perfect.
Ep3 tie rod ends are slightly larger and have a different taper. Case in point, if you have em2 suspension fitting something slightly larger is easier, than fitting something smaller such as em2 tie rods into a larger whole for an ep3 tie rod. It might bolt up and work, but its not designed too. Or it might bolt up but you get excessive play.

EP3 and EM2 share the same suspention but to install this set you need the front top mounts from a EM2 01. It's the same TEIN part number for both ep3 and em2.
