Testing the waters:
I'm thinking of selling my Superleggeras.....

17x7, +38 offset, tires are 215/45/17 Kumho ASXs
They're in decient shape, they could use a refinish job, brake dust has kinda gotten to the paint on the sides of the spokes. Some minor curbage, nothing that couldnt be fixed, and I dropped something on one of them, there's a ding in a spoke, but you can only see it when you're looking for it and know its there. Perfect daily driving rims in current form, I'm only selling them because I currently have 3 sets of wheels... and I dont really need or have room for 3 sets of rims. Tires are in OK shape.... they're about due for replacement but there's still a couple thousand miles left in them. When you could buy them (they're discontinued, they were $275 a wheel, the tires are around $95 each).... so if you bought them.... thats like $1500....
I'd be asking $600 for them.... the only rule is you gotta pick em up here.
They're in storage, I'll go take detailed pictures of them on request of a serious local buyer.

I think it needs a headgasket. I'd change it anyways while its out of the car.
67,003 miles on it, runs fine, no smoke or anything. There is little in the way of sensors and brackets left. Most of them got transferred over to the new engine. It does have a new thermostat in it, clutch/flywheel are still on it, the crank pulley is still on the other end.
Oil pan is tapped for a turbo return line.
Entire thing, you pick it up (its in Rockville, Md) - $300
There's only one way I'm parting it out.... someone buys the head, and someone else buys the block. I'm not tearing down the bottom end to get the crank out. Dont even ask. if you want the crank, get the whole thing, you can part the rest of the bottom end out. For the money the parts are worth, its not worth the time to do the tear down the right way.
This works very simply..... Head for 130+actual shipping
Block picked up for 170 (that includes everything below the deck). I am not crating up and shipping the block.
When both sell separately, I'll take them apart, but I prefer to sell the whole thing.
As with the wheels... motor is in storage, pics can be made available for serious buyers.... but it looks like a D17
I dont have the harness, the tranny, or any of the accessories, they're still in the car.

Re: Boiler's City Inspection Clearance Sale
I think EmU does a little more. Has some stuff like O2 sensor scaling.
Its still a piggyback, its gonna work in basically the same way, and you'll likely find the ECU fighting back just as hard.

Re: Boiler's Clearance Sale
Shipping the motor would cost almost as much, if not the same as the motor. There is no point to ship it. Its over 150 lbs, so fedex/ups wont take it, therefore it has to be trucked. Its LTL freight, it needs to go on a pallet, etc.... Not worth it.
Re: Boiler's Clearance Sale
i work for fedex and we will take it if its over 150lbs just gonna cost a little more but we'll do the same thing as LTL and put it on a pallet. but maybe for less

Re: Boiler's Clearance Sale
If you're in some way implying that you get discounted shipping through your employment and I dont have to do anything other than let the fedex guy come get it and strap it onto a pallet, then PM me...
