Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
Hey electric130, I just wanted to thank you again for the great quality of your kit. I bought mine for my 7th gen June of last year, and it has been excellent and actually gave me a slight voltage boost reading at the capacitor. I also really like the negative terminal, it's a lot easier to get off than that OEM one. No one should have any second thoughts about buying one, well worth the price.
Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
My kit arrived without any issues. Just haven't gotten around to installing yet, been raining all the time and no access to a garage. BTW, anyone have a guide with pictures for 8th civic??
Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
I would like to purchase a kit for an 8th Gen 2009 Honda Civic 4d sedan, Does the kit come with installation instructions? How do I make the payment to you? I have a paypal account.
Thanks,
Frank

ok, i think i'm all caught up on PM's. if i missed someone, let me know. I have "CRUDE" instructions for the kits, but I think anyone on here will attest that the kits are super easy to install.

Electric130,
Thank you a load!
I cannot tell the other things impacted since i did a timing belt, WP, HG, installed a stage1 cam, cleaned throttle body, etc, etc, all that is related, but one thing is for sure:
Car was parked for 3 or more weeks to do all the work. Today, during the first fire, naturally with new cam it took some tries, but IT DID CRANK BETTER than before, after 3 weeks. So, great kit, easy to install and seems to do a great job!
thanks again!

pleasure is mine too! great kit!
hard to find stuff to improve the electrical stuff for the engine, for the ones that do know the meaning! Coilpacks and all - no gains at all from the said electrical "upgrades", but this one is worth it!

^Civicforums is certainly not anti-humor, we just try to be a little more welcoming to the new members who aren't experienced with mechanics, especially since some don't understand forum humor.
Let's all hug it out,
Come on guys, don't be shy, internet group hug time!

hey man this is exactly what im looking for. i have a question before i purchase though. Are these 4 gauge wires CCA or OFC? do you have any pictures of the strands of the wire? also, i thought the big 3 required a postive power cable upgrade also?
Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
Hey electric130, I'm looking to upgrade my big3 on my 2007 civic 8th gen. I bought a 7th gen kit last jan-feb from you. I still have the old kit you sold to me but Idk how adaptable it can be for my new 8th gen. Is there any way I can use my afro rig my 7gen kit for my 8gen?
cheers!

at any rate, i did a 6th gen Si kit for someone before. there was 1 cable that was longer than the standard 6th gen, if i recall. let me dig through my PM's to see if i still have the info.

Awesome I appreciate it. There is no rush really, wont be home for another 5 months anyways. I am just trying to compile the parts for when I get back from deployment.
