are they 6000 or 8000 becuase on the box is says 8 and also do you need a retrofit for this or is it plug ang play, and how is the discharge on these is the light even

The hids are 6000k. Its plug and play. Took me only 15min to install. And yes it does light up evenly.

You won't be dissappointed. I installed these in most of my boys car. They all love it. One has the 07 Vic, 07 accord, Rx8, and 350z
