FS: Weitec (german made) coilovers, Brand New
Hi folks, I am new here, but not to the aftermarket scene. I used to work for a company that recently closed it's doors, and I have 2 brand new EJ1-EJ2 chassis Honda coilover kits. From what I researched these will fit all the Civics from 92- 99.
They are made by Weitec, a division of KW automotive. These are full dampening and height adjustable coilovers, and I need to get rid of them. I picked them up intending to purchase a honda, but plans fell through.
My loss your gain. Retail on them was $899. I'm looking to get what I paid for them. $600 each, plus $49 shipping.
I have Paypal, and am a verified member.

wow, I thought I would get more of a response. These are made by Weitec, a division of KW Automotive. These are equivalent to KW V2 coilovers that retail for over $1300. You can get the same performance and adjustabilty with these Weitec's for less than half the price.

Just to clairify, you said "$600 each". I'm not sure how much you're really asking for the entire setup and other members may be confused as well.
Huh? The classifieds section is for all Civic's or so I thought...... Maybe I am missing something here????
I am VW guy myself, I just have these kits that I need to get rid of. If this is the wrong forum, then I apologize.

Nah im trying to say this used to be a 95% 7thgen civic site then they merged the site with clubcivic so don't expect a lot of buyers since most people on here own a 01-05 Civic. Your posted in the right section and i apologize for not clarifying my post real good. GL on da sale
All are European Suspension manufacturers and top of the line stuff. Hell KW has stuff on Lemans cars. Weitec is the sport line from KW Automotive group, and I assure you, the coilovers above are far superior to many suspensions on the market today.
I keep seeing people installing that slip over sleeve crap, and I just don't understand why anyone would do that.
Oh well, I have some real coilovers engineered for the EJ1-EJ2 cars with the proper spring rates and dampening range.
Pretty cheap too, where you consider they will perform on the same level as Teins and KW's. I run Weitec's on all my cars, the one below has about 2 inches of threads left to go too:

This one has about 1.75 inches left:

why is that, just because I happen to not be over impressed with any suspension that they make?? Sure they make some nice handling stock cars, but in the aftermarket world I have honestly never been impressed to the point where I would buy a suspension based only on that fact that it is made in Germany. The seller made it sound like because it was made in Germany it was as good as gold. I was just stating my opinion. Maybe 8-10 years ago german made suspension was the way to go, but these days I think that Japaneese suspensions such as HKS, Tein, and JIC are far ahead of german engineering.
