I am selling a new, never used or even attempted to be hooked up 2 Farad Boss Capacitor with everything that it came with when I bought it. Why do you need capacitors for your audio system. If you could explain that would be very helpful because I think i need one but I just havent had time to do the research. Thanks

When you have a "bad ***" system like say 2000 watts max!^^^^

You’ll need this to STOP your battery from dieing & killing you alternator!

You "stock” charge system can not handle the extra 2000 watts your system is pulling.

1 farad is good for 1000 watts.

2 farad is good for 2000 watts so on & so forth…

Oh cool thanks for the advice. Sorry but I have a 720 watt amp and was planning to also hook up an ipod nano, i guess Im right below cut off for a 1farad. Free bump for you and good luck

I your lights dim at all when your system is on, or if you feel a small loss in power, like when you turn you air conditioning on, you will need a capacitor. if everything runs straight, than good job, but if you lose some power, lemme know, it'll still proly be for sale. thanks, tim
