2002 Civic lx With k20a2 FAST! "TEST"
I might have to part with my pride and joy, but first I need to find out if it be financially woth it. She's not in the greatest of conditions but to say the least she is a beast N/A but with alot of potential. Im going to post up the basic facts and the things that are wrong. Please tell me what you guys are willing to pay, please be honest no low balling.
Car Facts
-2002 Honda Civic Lx
-Standard amenities, Power locks, windows, Am/Fm/Tape
-No A/C (i'd rather go fast and put windows down)
-under 37k miles both on engine and body
-Fair exterior and interior condition with damage listed below
- Rear bumper slightly damaged on ends, Trunk does not have springs
edges are bent, two dings on body next to trunk from it falling on me no rust though. Passenger side door significant dent. Glove box and center console trim piece with aluminum sheet. Interior trim not in very good condition needs a little work I wasnt able to finish it the way I want. Some very nicely painted trim pieces some not fairing as well. Hood and front bumper with normal wear.
Modifications
-Engine - K20A2 pulled from wrecked rsx. Frame was not touching motor. Hit battery side.
-Only persisting problem is slight oil leak apparent on pan. Less than 1 drop every 15 minutes.
-Check engine light on as of now haven't reset ecu with 02 cheater.
-Hollowed out cat
-Cat back exhaust Hp racing-very bearable decent sound with silencer
-Spoon Throttle Body
-Dc Sports Header
-Tires-BFGoodrich traction T/As definately help

Let me tell you that many people have been very pissed off. I haven't had much time to enjoy it seeing as right now I'm overseas in the AirForce and have to now decide whether to keep or sell. However when I did drive it I would hang with many and beat many more. The most notable and quantafiable test was a race with an SRT-4. They pulled up behind and laughed. So I did a nice little ricer rev to egg em on. He comes up beside me and the 3 of them chunkle. The car is a sleeper. We take off. He's lagging by about 2 cars. We get to the next light quickly and stop and he is noticably surprised. We take off again and up a slight hill its by another 1.5 cars. He yelled "What turbo you running" I gleamed and shouted "no turbo, all motor". After we pulled over he told me how he ran 14.3 at the track all day. Easily this car should be good for a 14 flat. You can see the very short list of mods and the potential. Many others were beaten but those stories dont mean much when you dont have numbers.

modded car=**** resale
IF you can go back to stock. then sell it for more. sell the k20 for way more profit anyway. i mean a d17 is only 500 bucks
oops, um EDIT: any person in private may pay about 9-10 k cause thats blue book for a stock 02 depending on mileage. BUT since you have the **** modded out of it, be lucky to get 9. but thats only my opinion. dealerships won't give you ****.
