Question about rsx seats?
OMG!!!! I keep reading stupid posts about RSX seats. This is directed at people who have their seats gheto rigged.
This is about a 30min to 1 hour install and all you need is either a drill with a 1/2 bit or a small recipricating saw. 3 of the 4 bolts fit exactly, and the 4th one is off by about 1/4 to 1/2 and inch. You need to enlarge the hole in the mounting flange on the seat so that the hole and bolt line up. Then, have someone sit on the seat while you tighten the nut onto the bolt. You need someone to sit on the seat because the carpet and frame rails are very close and without some weight the seat will not sit flat long enough get all the bolts tightened.
To those people that are running around with 3 out of 4 bolts tightened, just wait until you get into an accident and the force of the collision causes your seat to come unattached from the mounting flanges and you get tweaked by the seat belt or worse. This is RICE!!! Take the few minutes to correct your install. If you think that a seat that doesn't sit level or rocks a bit is cool, you are STUPID!!!
