Well tranny will be appr. $500...considering this, a COMPLETE swap will run well under $2,000. Buying jus the motor, ecu, harness, mount now, pay it off and get the rest later, at least you'll have the motor.

$2000 k20a3 swap ++ $labour+++ $mounts and a bunch of other crap expenses you didn't expect = 160 hp NOT worth it.

I'd rather spend another grand for a K20A2 = 200hp TOTALLY worth it

Ya, a k20a2 gives you more HP, but theres a large price gap.
Wit da k20a3...ya 160hp, but now alot more breathing n mods than a d17, shiet turbo it and youd beat the k20a2 for a lower price.

Or lets all get a k20a-R JDM spec, turbo, and everyother bolt on and be DONE!

yes it is just a k20a3. for the price, youre getting more HP & a motor capable of breathing easier wit more mods kno what im sayin? If u aint got the money for a k20a2 + turbo, get a k20a3 + turbo.

Point is, good deal if its in your budget, if your budget is bigger then get a more powerful engine.
