Hello all. I am really thinking about trading in my car tonight. I have an 01 LX coupe with 39k miles. The dealer offered me 10k towards a trade on an 02 SI with 24k miles. The SI costs about 15. With my trade the deal is 6700 out the door. I am able to take off my intake, strut bar and subs without affecting trade in.

The mods on the SI:
-Tein coilovers with the electronic controller thing (can anyone explain this to me plz!)
-17 inch rims, 6 or 7 spoke, they look real nice with tires about 85-90%
-alpine headunit, who knows about speakers
-hyper grounding kit
-Wings west rear spoiler (looks really dang good)
-EBC? rotors and brakepads

Do you guys think its worth it? I was at the dealer for 2 hours haggling to no avail, but I really want to go back and get it. If everything goes well tonight i will have all my parts for sale and I will start a new FS thread. Thanks!

i'd do it. those coilovers alone are worth about 1500. everything else is gravy. 10k is a good trade in for an 01, i think.

well, i did it. No more 7th gen. I will post a for sale thread soon after I get pics of all the stuff. Yea, I got a great deal. The EP3 is so smooth and stong, i love it!
