kcm is an unknown quantity at this point
it did suck for na but for fi supossedly because it caused much more turbulance right where the fuel injectectors are causing it to mix better... that is the hypothesis but for sure it will take much more psi than the plastic mani but how many of us is runnin 12+psi daily(i haven't been in the turboed section for the past year)... with a plastic mani no need for a pnp because is actually a highly viscous liquid at room temp (like glass)... so over time it plastic will actually let gravity afect by deforming from original form, but and real noticable difference will take around 50years... due to this reason plastic will flow better than alloy mani...

however did you get the option to get the bigger throttle body (i forget the size)... actually that doesn't matter to me because i might be intrested in it for fabricating it for itbs (hahahahahahaha)... already got the throttle bodies just need bigger fuel injectors ...and then i will sell so some one will have a possibility of a na d17 itb beast(i am goin to do a k20 swap, then eventually drop a fully built k20 turbo into my em2 hx)...

basic concept of a good design of a intake mani ist to have a large throttle body that can be connected to it and to have as long runners as possible... if our mani was the same design but alloy this would work better than stock...

but i might buy this but i will know next week and if i do buy this anyone want itb setup, pm me so i can try to fabricate one...

but for anyone else that is intrested in this you will only see gains on an fi car or in a car you decide to try to do something stupid like a 150+ shot of nos (that will explode the plastic manifold for sure)

ps- for anyone who does not know what itbs is it stands for individual throttle bodies. so instead of one nice sized throttle body, you have four (one throttle body per cylinder) smaller throttle bodies, but yet the total size of area of possible intake on the throttle body is greater on the itbs... plus it allow much more option tunability to each cylinder... great for na cars and fi cars alike... example cars that have them are skyline gt-r, bmw m3, and f1 cars (because they cannot turbo cars anymore and that is why honda does not manufacture turboed cars)

sorry for stealin the thread

im sorry but unless ur planning on running insane amounts of boost (20+lbs) u shouldnt get this. im sorry to whoever is sleling it but its true. this manifold lost power on both the NA and a FI setup, there have been dynos to prove it. some people have run like 15 lbs of boost i believe, and the plastic manifold hasnt had any trouble dealing with it, that's why im guessing 20+lbs of boost. and uhhh.... 150+ shot of nitrous won't just blow the intake manifold, it'll blow your engine unless you have some serious **** done to it, and i don't see why anyone would build an engine up that much and go with a 150 shot nitrous instead of just turboing it...

yeah i was just using the 150shot to express a sense of sarcasm being i personally hate cheaters.. that is why it would be using for itbs to sell because that will show gains because it will have longer runners and i will probabaly make it to a 4in (maybe 3in just because it is standard) filter so you can use it in an na or fi setup... but if i do that i need to make sure i have the time to fabricate it

im not tryin to b a **** but ive personnally seen 2 stock intake manifolds crack at about 7-9 lbs. therefore making this manifold better for boosting, im not saying it flows better, cuz i never had it tested but being as i put a hole in my stocker id say its worth it.

and people build motors all the time for a nitro shot.
