what kind of damage to the first one?..is it fuct, or can we just apply a little heat and get it fixed?...

i seriously dont know. i've asked many members here and my personal mechanic.. all said to replace the entire coilover and use the shock on it as parts. my guess is that if it were on a car, the steering would be a problem and the performance handling wouldnt be so great. in that pic, it is already fixed by a shop. they heated it and rewelded it basically.
