Lets Trade: Color matched headlights for DC header
Heres the scoop. I've gotten some great reviews from painting my headlights the color of the car. I was thinking of charging to do it for others but I really want to get ahold or a real DC sports header and I thought a trade might work out. You send me your lights, we could do it with OEM too, and I will dissasemble, prep, paint, reassemble, seal, and ship them back to you. In trade for a header. So if anyone is going back to stock or wants some custom lights the deal is on the table. Heres the link to the thread of my lights.

lol. Thanks for the negative response but I have yet to get any negative response on the lights. Not everybody is willing to rip apart their lights. Unlike everyone elses flat black DIY lights, I'm offering to paint them the actual color of the vehicle. Not only that, but take a look at my post. My lights look far from stock.
amhtown01 - The offer stands for ANY color.
In addition, this is not a cheap DIY, your lights will be painted in a dust free temperature controlled booth.

Maybe if u bought custom lights, did all the painting, and then shipped em out, then someone mught be able to trade for a DC header....i highly doubt you would have ANYONE pay you 120 bucks for a headlight paint job. Lol.

I never asked for money. Have we forgotten the idea of a trade? One mans trash is anothers treasure. If you're deciding to get out of performance it would make sense. My lights are a lot more custom than the average DIY. If you're not interested then thats fine, but don't post. Obviously it's of no value to you so why bother?
I agree with everyone. The easy way to do this is to take apart your headlights, take out the inserts and go to a body shop and ask them to paint your inserts the colro of your car. Hell, Maaco can prolly do it for liek 30 bucks.

That is exactly what I was offering. Come on guys we've been on this site how long? How many times have we seen people that look at the stuff we do and say " wow thats really cool, I wish I could do it but I wouldn't know where to start" All the DIYs in the world are not going mean everybody will do them. Everybodys acting like I'm trying to rip people off or get a large stock flow of headers. I've painted OEM's with a rattlecan, and I've had my projectors masked and painted NBP, I've installed HIDs from and Audi into them, I've fiberglassed my entire trunk, I even have a spare head I'm porting and polishing. I know the value of doing stuff yourself and the pride you get when something is custom. For me, it even means more when I can do it myself. Obviously I need to contact everyone individually because 4/5 of these post that actually ARE negaitive are from people that A) obviously feel that this job is easy enough for anyone and b) don't need someone to paint there lights. No offense but cmon guys I'm not hoping on your forum. I'll leave it at this: If anyone is interested or just wants to talk to me more about it, please PM and we can work something out.
