Smile Voice control

I have a new 2013 Civic EX-L (love it) with navigation. The hands free voice control works great except that it doesn't work with the climate control. Did I read somewhere that hands free climate control only works with the hybrid version of the Civic? Bluetooth and my Galaxy s3 phone pairs just fine. The message function works although the Honda website state the phone isn't compatible with hands free messaging. Any help appreciated.

Re: Voice control

IIRC, US and Canadian Civics don't get voice-controls on the Climate control.
Van/Accord/Pilot may have it, but Civics don't.

Voice works with HFL and NAVI only.

Read your owners manual and make sure, but I bet I'm correct.

Re: Voice control

Thanks, that is what I thought but the manual gives all the spoken commands for the climate control. As conveniently as it is located one really wouldn't need the voice commands.

Re: Voice control

To be honest, I haven't received a 13 Civic with Navi yet, so I haven't been able to check one out.
The 12s don't .

Like I said, read the manual to be certain.
