LOcation of DRL Module in 99 Civic
LOcation of DRL Module in 99 Civic
Guys I found the DRL Relay - it is a black box with two plugs, I found it on the driver side behind the fuse panel, it seems to be working. I cannot find the DRL Module - help!! There is a Main Module behind the glove box - is this it?

DRL CU
Behind left side of the dash
2 connectors, one with 4 terminals/3wires and another with 8 terminals/4 wires
That's all I got, sorry.

This was a major nightmare. After all the troubleshooting and replacing the DRL Relay (the one located behind the fuse panel by the driver's left foot) RZ-0138 is the number stamped on the black box. There is no grey box with a blue plug. The Main Relay is behind the glove box - this was not the culprit either. The problem was one of the high-beams was burned-out. A snippet of info buried deep in a post indicated that without BOTH high-beams there is insufficient resistance for the system to work. I changed both bulbs tonight (29.99 Sylvania 9003's) from Canadian Tire. I am back in business!!
