newb question about sub woofers

Hey can anyone tell me if I should run 1 1ooo watt mono to my two type rs or should I run two mrp m 500 's 1 to each sub. Thanks.

Depends on the company of the amp and speakers. How many Watts on the amps (it should say the amount that goes to each sub. 1000W is usually 100 or 70 watts.). Manly you want to go to the 1000W just because it will take up less space but the two 500W should sound better. Though as i said, depends on the company.
