i just got this 2dr civic dx i have 13w7 and jl 1000/1 will this be too much?

It can technically never be to much. If it seems to loud, turn the gain down and also turn the bass/sub volume down.

well stated. just turn it down some. you don't need much though. i've got a single Kicker 12" comp on a 150w RMS amp and it's more than enough.

sell it all, get urself an EX, get a 250/1 and a JL 12W-0 and the custom sub enclosure for our trunks on ebay....you'll be slumpin and still have dough in the wallet.
