Radio Goes Off After CAR Is Not On Parked

Today my boy connected my radio in my car and I notice that when my car is on park the radio works fine then when I take it off parking either to drive or reverse it shuts off the who radio loses power, why does it do that?

You can fix it by taking it out and checking all the wires. I don't get how people can mess it up, the wire jackets are clearly labeled IGNITION, BATTERY and GROUND.
