Looking at an 01 EX Coupe Manual. Guy wants $700. Needs an engine.

Everything else looks good.


First real experience with a Honda. Had an 04 TL and the deepest I got in was with a timing belt swap.


not looking for a racer or anything. Just a commuter for a 16 year old.

If it’s good shape, it may not be bad. I bought my manual ‘01 LX running and driving for $500 back in 2016 but that sort of deal doesn’t really exist anymore. If you think you’re up to the task, it should be a good car when it’s all said and done.

V6 timing belts are not easy, so this shouldn’t be too bad for you.

Probably needs an engine due to the common head gasket breaching. If you do need an engine, one with the head gasket replaced properly (and head planed) would be golden.
