Good japan import place for used transmission?
are japan made transmission quality any better or all the same ? I'm decided to swap the transmission myself, my car has been in parking for more than a month already and I need it back, I never imagine these cars transmissions were so weak i wonder if manual transmission are stronger than automatic?

A manual transmission will basically never go bad as long as it is maintained. My stock 5 speed transmission had 250k miles before I K swapped and it still shifted buttery smooth.
Others have had luck with using imported JDM auto transmissions, but I cannot comment on that.
