Looking to purchase 2005 Civic Si ... specific inspection items to look for?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2005 Civic Si at a dealer near me. 110k miles, appears to be unmolested (100% stock, no mods).
I've driven a 1995 Del Sol as my daily driver for last 20 years, but I'm unfamiliar with the 2005 vintage of Civic Si.
This particular vehicle comes with no maintenance history. Anything in particular I should look out for when I have it inspected? i.e. any problem areas that crop up frequently with this year/model?
Thanks in advance! I seached this forum for info but came up with nothing decisive.

Just general maintenance records and bushing/motor mount conditions. The EP3 (02-05 civic si hatch) civic was pretty badass.
Dare I ask what the asking price on it is?

Thanks for your reply riceboy!
Dealer is asking $6700 ... thoughts on that price?
I see four 2005 Civic Si on craiglist right now with similar mileage (110-120k) and they're priced around $5500 ... with one priced higher at $5900.
The one I'm looking at, at the dealer, seems in decent mechanical condition, but has dent in liftgate, and small dent in front quarter panel, with small ****** of rust where some paint flaked off at dented area.
Any input on reasonable pricing would be appreciated, thanks.

The only thing I can think of with the Civic Si is the timing chain tensioner. I bought one with ~150k miles, the timing chain tensioner gave out and the engine jumped time bending valves. If you end up buying it I would definitely consider having that replaced as a precaution. It's not very difficult to do.
IMO I would consider $6700 awfully steep, but then again these are becoming fairly sought after.

Thanks BrotatoChip, I think it's price is steep as well.
NADA blue book says "clean retail" price for a 2005 Si is ~$5700 ... but with the dents I need to offer less than that, and negotiate from there.

Ended up purchasing for $5200.
California car, even found maintenance records buried in glovebox ... appears to be very well-cared for.
Only modifications appear to be aftermarket stereo and rims.
Very fun, happy so far!
