Question about bumper clips.
My 2002 civic driver side front clip brok this afternoon. I checked out the area and found no damages. I didn't hit anything or did anyone hit me. I called the place that fixed my bumper 9 months ago and told them what I found. They said if my car is in direct sunlight it could pop the clip. Is this true?
I know it doesn't sound right but I have to ask.

Pics please -- so we know exactly what you are talking about. BS. That has to be the lamest answer I've heard all month.

That is what I said and hung up on the auto body shop. As for pics, I haven't taken any yet, I forgot to add on my original post the word bumper. It is where the bumper connects to the wheel well.
