Foot rest

I saw a picture of someone who had a foot rest for their civic and they mentioned where they got it but I cant seem to find the thread.

I have searched ebay and stuff but cant seem to find one that isnt OEM.

Does anyone have any suggestions or anything to help me out?

Re: Foot rest

I have a foot rest on my 01 next to the clutch pedal but it's OEM. I don't know if automatics have one or not. Mine is plastic.

Re: Foot rest

aka, dead pedal.

I hate the OEM ones they get dirty fast, then are hard to clean.

I use black rubber/vinyl baseboard moulding cut to fit and glue it on original dead pedal. Easy to keep clean.

Re: Foot rest

All cars have a dead pedal, regardless of whether it's an automatic or standard.

It's not a foot rest, it's meant to brace your body in an impact from the rear.

Most aftermarket pedal sets of a metal piece to cover it and make it look shiny and nice.

Plastic ones, really? Where do you get those? That's a pretty good idea.

Re: Foot rest

Corsport.com. and procivic.com have some realty cool ones but I'm sure you would have to buy the whole pedal set.
