Hi,

I want to replace the worn gear **** on my 7th gen. Civic. Can anyone please advise if its possible to purchase the original one. I ordered one from my local main dealer but it is completely different from the original and I don't like it.

Try eBay. They have several that look just like that except with red lettering.

I already looked on eBay and there are no genuine Honda ones. I'm trying to maintain an original factory finish.

And besides that, why don't you go for a EP3 shiftknob? I think it's very nice or have a look at the weighted shiftknob from Skunk2 Racing ... it's the most beautiful aftermarket shiftknob I've ever seen and it shifts like heaven (I also have one in my EM2)
