N/A questions:
- Where can i find Camshaft for a non ex/si, and what should i be looking for for a performance lift/duration?
- What site has some N/A parts for our cars [non-vtec]? I find robear, dezod and summit have noting to really offer.
- What sort of things should i be looking for to start of an N/A build for a dx 05?
- If anyone has done this well, can i see some specs cuz im curious what i can do to my egine without forced induction....

for camshaft use a crower stage two cam. but what you really need to so is use the search button, there is tons of info on this site about n/a builds and they have complete lists also so just search.

First off there are no cam options currently available for your d17a1 head, unless you get a custom grind. The best best if you are serious about it is either that or swap to the d17a2 vtec head so you have wayyy more options to work with.

Most of the bolt on parts are the same for both motors (Ex. header,intake).
Crower makes stage 1-3 cams for the d17a2. Some users here have either turbo cars with them and some non turbo. I think the best results someone saw was near 140 whp all motor. Search DJ Mota. Good luck!

wow, only 140whp, not very much, for the $ it would cost to swich to a d17a2, then and n/a build it would prolly be more worthwhile to do a forced induction of some sort, and may swap to a k....

uh yea. It's difficult to get a motor this size to make some serious hp without boosting it. the highest proven d17 turbo hp was andyman97 @ 335 whp.
