Hey guys,

I was doing some looking around about why my heater/air conditioning selector wasn't working. I followed the cable under the dash, and I see it moving when I change it from heat to a/c. Inside the engine, where the valve is, the cable does not move the valve open or closed, almost like it is stuck. I replaced the valve with a brand new one (glad I did because the old one was cracked) and the cable still does not open or close the valve in the position it needs to be in when selecting heat or a/c on the dash.

Any way to fix this or figure out why its not working still? I thought that after replacing the valve this would fix the issue of it possibly being frozen inside.

Cable moves.....but is the cable housing also moving at either end? The housing (or outer sheath) must be anchored by its little clip on each end.
