1994 Civic roof rust, expensive to fix?

I have a 1994 Honda Civic. About 5 years ago I started to get a bubble under the paint on the roof in the upper right side corner. Eventually some cracks starting emerging in that area. There is also some bubbling and cracking on the pillar. The roof leaks through the passenger side visor where the visor mechanism connects to the roof. The headliner has started to come loose in that corner and I get a lost of rust particles that fall out of that corner onto the passenger seat.

I've attached some pics of the situation. As you can see I've tried sealing the cracks with black silicone, but the dripping continues, I'm thinking it might be rusted underneath the black molding strip on the roof and the water might be getting in there.

My question is, for anyone who's had anything similar done, how much would it cost me to have this repaired? And if it's outrageous, is there anything I can do myself to slow the rust down and get a couple of more years out of the car? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Wow dude, I have not seen anything that bad here, and I'm in the rust belt.

I wonder if it might have been a bad hack job by a discount bodyshop.

I'd say to visit a few body shops and get quotes.
Also, ask around for who is the most reputable body shop.
Who does the body work for your local Benz dealership?

The time to get it fixed was apparently 5 years ago. LOL

Yeah, I was hoping to do the work myself. Just a patch job to get by with car for another 12-18 months. I was hoping someone on here with some DIY body repair experience could give me some advice.
