94 Honda Civic vx -sell or scrap
Hello,
We have a 1994 VX hatchback that was in an accident and we've decided not to fix it. Should we try to sell it as is to an enthusiast or sell it to the scrap yard? It doesn't drive at the moment because the R front steering and brake line were damaged. It gets amazing mileage (40mpg) and has over 200k on it, A/C, winter and summer tires with separate rims. I think there are people out there who might like to restore this car or use the parts for their Honda. I thought I would check out the Honda discussion forum to see how much interest there might be. What is the best option, realistically?

Well that particular chassis is a popular one, but depending on where you live it may be difficult to find a buyer.
If you have the time I would take the time to try and find an enthusiast to buy it. If the body is in good shape then you should be able to find someone. If the body is rusty and falling apart then you may want to scrap it. Most people looking to do a project car want one with a good chassis.
