4gen Civic dx hatch engine swap? Hello all, just want to start this post off by letting you know I'm a bit of a noob.... I've had Hondas since I got my license ('93 accord dx, '94 accord lx, and '90 civic dx hatch) and sort of know my way around them. I have no professional training but do all my own service and maintenance.
Recently, my timing belt blew, and I'm looking for options. It's a 1990 Civic DX hatchback with a d15b coupled to an an auto trans, and no mods. It has about 140k on it.
I'd love to do some mods on it but I only spent 1k on it when I bought it.
Looking into a b18 5spd swap, but I don't know much about them.
What are my options? Any suggestions? I really just need to get back on the road, but I'd like to give the car some *****...Any other owners can relate, they're pretty slow stock.
