Hi Everyone,
I’m new here, going to look at my 1st CIVIC tomorrow. Hope to make a deal. The ad is below:
“1987 CIVIC CRX; 185,000 miles; all original and runs well, 5-speed. A/C works. Some minor exterior damage, no major body work needed. Interior in good shape, Needs tires soon. Drives straight, breaks are good, starts without hesitation.”
Any info on what to look at or check would be appreciated. How much $ are these selling for. I do not know very much about Honda’s yet. I’m in need of a high MPG work car and I’m a mechanic on heavy equipment so I’m not scared to work on it. My choices seem to be the above CRX and a Geo Metro. I feel the CRX is a far better car. Hope it is a good deal and I will need to spend more time on here with you folks.

welcome colorado! after owning one honda, i have loved them ever since. you can look on kelly blue book for a price on the crx, i would but i'm lazy haha. i have heard good things about metros, but i would rather have a crx lol.

hope the transaction goes well and you get your car. make sure you take a good long test drive, and check all the basics before buying.
